How to Find Your Polymarket Wallet Address (and Why You Have Two)
Where to copy your Polymarket wallet address, the difference between your account wallet and your signer address, which one to use for deposits, lookups and support, and how to check it on Polygonscan.
New to Polymarket? Create an account and place your first trade in a few minutes.
Get StartedEvery Polymarket account has an address, and if you signed in with a crypto wallet it has two. Knowing which is which saves you from the most common support ticket on the platform: "I sent funds and they didn't arrive."

Create a Polymarket AccountThe 30-Second Version
- Sign in at polymarket.com.
- Click your profile icon (top-right).
- Copy the address shown in the menu.
That is your account wallet. Use it for deposits on Polygon, for exporting your history, for public profile links, and when you contact support.
Why There Are Two Addresses
Polymarket does not make you pay gas on every trade. To do that, it gives each account a smart contract wallet on Polygon that holds your pUSD and your position tokens, while a separate key signs instructions for it.
| Account wallet | Signer | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Smart contract wallet that holds your funds and positions | The key that authorizes actions |
| Email / Google login | Created for you automatically (called a Proxy Wallet on older accounts, Deposit Wallet on accounts opened after May 4, 2026) | Managed by Polymarket's login provider; you never see it |
| MetaMask / wallet login | Created for you (a Safe wallet on older accounts, Deposit Wallet on newer ones) | Your MetaMask address |
| Use it for | Deposits, activity lookups, profile URL, support tickets | Nothing day-to-day. Never send funds here. |
The practical rule: the address Polymarket shows you in the profile menu is the one that matters. If you log in with MetaMask and look up your MetaMask address on Polygonscan, you will see no Polymarket positions, because they live in the account wallet.
Where Else the Address Appears
- Deposit page. Click Deposit, choose "Transfer Crypto" and the Polygon USDC option. The address and QR code shown are your account wallet.
- Profile page. Your public profile is at
polymarket.com/profile/<address>(orpolymarket.com/@usernameif you set one). Anyone can view positions and history there. - Settings. Account details list the same address.
Checking It on Polygonscan
Paste the address into polygonscan.com. Under the Token tab you should see pUSD (or USDC.e on legacy accounts) and a list of outcome tokens for your open positions. Under Transactions you will see every trade settlement. This is the fastest way to confirm a deposit landed even if the Polymarket balance hasn't refreshed yet.
If the address shows no tokens at all, you are probably looking at the signer, not the account wallet.
What to Send Where
- USDC on Polygon: send directly to the account wallet address. It is credited within a few minutes and converted to pUSD automatically.
- USDC on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Solana, or USDT, ETH, BTC: use the Deposit page flow. Polymarket's bridge gives you a chain-specific address or a one-time route; do not send these to the Polygon address.
- Anything else: don't. Tokens Polymarket doesn't support are not recoverable through the interface.
Full options and fees are in the funding methods guide.
Security Notes
- The account wallet address is safe to share. It is public on-chain anyway.
- Never share your seed phrase, private key or magic-link email. Polymarket support never asks for them.
- If you set a username, your profile URL becomes searchable. Positions on political or sensitive markets are then tied to that name publicly.
